Well, there are
many interests of mine. The top on my list is computers,
computers, and more computers!! I guess that I can thank my
brother-in-law for getting me involved with this many years ago.
Since being in it, I have learned a lot and met a lot of people because
of it. Each year I go to a Ham Radio flea market in Missouri
Valley, Iowa, and set up a table with computer related products.
The main reason I go, is to see friends that I have made there over the
past 4 years. Many of the participants are 15-20 years older.
Cooking and canning
ranks #2 on my interests list. Many times looking in the kitchen,
and wondering what to cook tonight, many ideas for off the wall things
to create dance around in the old noggin. Around the holidays, the
request for my famous beer bread is always a given thing. Even the
garlic cheese biscuits are a favorite, when it comes time for food at
family reunion time.
Ideas for the
family reunion range from a T-shirt to a banner (which LIZ beat me to it
one year!!). Coming up with different ideas helps to keep things
interesting at the reunion. Most of which come from my mother. |
